Chain Tension Tool

Make chain adjustments quicker and more consistent with the HoagieMoto Chain Tension Tool. Designed to hold the drive chain in position while you adjust the rear wheel, this simple tool helps establish repeatable chain tension without juggling a tape measure.

Installation & Use:

1. Slide the tool upward against the chain guard and position it underneath the drive chain.

2. The chain should sit tightly against the top of the tool for the standard tension setting.

3. For slightly more chain tension, leave a small amount of looseness between the chain and the top of the tool before tightening the rear axle.

4. Complete your chain adjustment according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s specifications.

5. Remove the tool before operating the motorcycle.

Available Sizes:

• 65 mm: Designed for the newer-body 2023+ KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas dirt-bike models.

• 55–58 mm: Designed for pre-2023 KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas dirt-bike models.
